Xchanging needed a global leader to run their insurance business unit, which accounted for almost 40% of turnover and profits. We were chosen ahead of Tier 1 search firms for this high-profile, strategically important role based on our knowledge of the European BPO marketplace and our track record of completing high-profile search assignments quickly and accurately, often in challenging locations. We had just six weeks to deliver a shortlist of candidates for Xchanging’s CEO, Ken Lever, to interview.
We identified over 250 target candidates for the role across 70 organisations. We spoke to over 90% of them, eventually meeting 15 candidates in person and submitting a shortlist of six prospects within the six-week deadline. We also managed the interview process on behalf of Ken Lever.
The outcome was the successful appointment of Adrian Guttridge as Executive Director – Insurance. Adrian had previously led HP’s BPO organisation across Europe.
